Upholstery Cleaning
Shampoo Encapsulation
It is simply not possible to wet clean some fabrics. The shampoo encapsulation method uses dry foam shampoo which is applied and agitated to release and suspend the soils which are vacuumed out after crystallisation when dry. This is an ideal maintenance cleaning system.
Fabric protection products can also be applied to help keep your furniture in tip-top condition all year long!
Upholstery cleaning is by its very nature a more exact process than carpet cleaning. Not only are the fabrics more delicate, more subject to damage or destruction by inappropriate cleaning methods, but there are further considerations which do not apply in carpet cleaning.
It is very important that your upholstery is cleaned with the appropriate cleaning method and products.
I will always conduct a thorough survey of the item which is to be cleaned and make you aware of areas of special concern such as faded areas due to sunlight exposure and areas of weak fibres on seats, arms or backs.
Before cleaning the item to be cleaned will receive a thorough vacuuming. This will remove dust, crumbs, dead insects and a whole host of other things!
Hot Water Extraction
The same system that is used for carpets is also used, with slight modifications, for upholstery. A pre-spray is misted over the fabric, agitated and then extracted and rinsed. A mechanical drier is then introduced to speed up the drying process.
